Background Information

The 7th Edition of The Girl Summit 2025 is organised by Stretchers Youth Organization in partnership with the Kenya School of Government (KSG), Mombasa Campus happening on 20th November 2025 at the Kenya School of Government (KSG), Mombasa Campus, under the theme “Empowered Girls, Resilient Communities: Unlocking Coastal Opportunities through Innovation and Inclusion.”

The summit brings together girls, young women, youth advocates, policymakers, community leaders, civil society organizations, and development partners to discuss, learn, and co-create solutions to challenges facing girls and young women in the coastal region and across Kenya. It is a space for inspiration, learning, and action, highlighting opportunities in education, health, leadership, entrepreneurship, and the blue and green economies.

Stretchers Youth Organization (SYO), is a youth-led organization committed to empowering young people and advancing gender equality through leadership, inclusion, and innovation.

• SYO will provide meals during the summit.
• SYO does not offer transport for participants attending the summit.
